DUBAI CONVENTION BUREAU FOCUSES ON A NORTH AMERICAN DRIVE
Kicking off the new year, Dubai was showcased at PCMA’s Annual Conference and will be at DMAI’s Destination Showcase in Washington D.C. for the first time.
While exhibiting at Destination Showcase on February 25th, visitors to the stand will learn about new developments in Dubai as well as details about the recently launched Dubai Bid Alliance.
With the ease of access and business opportunities available in Dubai, it’s an obvious choice for those companies and associations who wish to expand their membership or enter a new market.
Emirates Airlines operate direct flights to Dubai from New York JFK, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Toronto. United fly direct from Washington D.C. to Dubai, and Delta from Atlanta direct to Dubai. From a product standpoint, Dubai continues to see strong growth in new openings from American based brands including Ritz Carlton, Marriott Marquis, MGM Grand, Bellagio and several products from IHG.
“We continue to build strong business reasons for congresses and events to take place in Dubai through efforts to match customers with local business partners. This collaborative effort generates synergy between the local community and organizations abroad. The city is the center of business and trade for the region. Dubai is as diverse in corporations and associations as we are in residents, it remains a gateway city to the Middle East for commerce and trade” says Jerad Bachar, Director of Dubai Convention Bureau.
